Attic Portrait is an LA-based artist duo whose multimedia works of soft sculpture and digital media explore the inner self in relationship to societal and personal expectations.

The sculptural pieces range from referential to pure abstraction and exist in the tension between both.
“We are taught that parts of ourselves are unattractive. That the full spectrum of the human emotional and physical experience is not beautiful and must be hidden.” Through their work the artists embrace these aspects of themselves with pride over shame, resulting in radical vulnerability which aims to build community.
