Create jewelry with us as we host our second workshop with Other Lives Studio and learn how to DIY your own pieces through jewelry design techniques. Love DIY? We do too! Learn from our designers, IRL. Industry Designers will be there to guide you along the way. We'll teach you mixed media jewelry design and repair basics, and help brainstorm new ideas with you.
This workshop is all about creating new pieces through collaging and re-mixing jewelry, via deconstruction and reconstruction. We will provide tools + select charms, crystals, vintage chains, stone beads, pearl beads, jewelry wire, and metal findings. We want to encourage a playful approach to jewelry design and help re-use those broken trinkets to create something new, giving you the skills to endlessly morph pieces into others.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Your imagination! And any existing metal findings, jewelry, watches, beads, hiking clips, rings, chains, or objects you’d like to incorporate (they can be broken pieces etc)Bring what you have, and your curiosity. We'll help with the rest!
